A 12 mile boat ride from Nestor Falls, Ontario, King Island is located in the heart of some of the most productive waters in North America, with many fish species to choose from. Family owned and operated for 80+ years. Hanson's King Island was established in 1926 by Kendall Hansona and his brother Marion. We offer both the full-service plan and do-it-yourself housekeeping options, in first class facilities. Nine fully modern waterfront cottages, each with a unique view of the lake, ring the island, offering you a cozy base from which to explore this incredible lake.
