| Relax and enjoy Lake of the Woods with its 65,000 miles of shoreline and over 14,000 islands. It is renowned for its Walleye fishing. Northern, Muskie, Crappie, Bass, Sauger, Perch and Lake Trout are some of the sport fish to be caught in the Morson area of Lake of the Woods. Truly a fisherman's paradise, moor in a secluded bay, put your feet up, relax and sip a long cool one aboard your Canada North Houseboat. We have excellent duck and grouse hunting among the islands in the fall. Basil Channel, eight miles from base, is in the main flyway for northern Bluebills and Mallards. Hunt morning and evening and fish mid-day. What a way to spend a vacation! |

| Our Ontario Wilderness Houseboat base is located at Gill's Morson Marina on Hanson Bay on pristine Lake of the Woods. You'll be met by our friendly, courteous staff, who will help you load up, and will acquaint you with the equipment on board. A marine radio keeps you in touch with our base station, and in touch with the weather. We will spend time with you studying the detailed lake chart; suggesting celebrated fishing spots, and instructions on how to best secure your craft for the night. Protected bays and islands provide lots of calm waters and are excellent places to tie up for the evening. Once you've completed the orientation, you're the captain Cruising the Woods! |
